…the little pup had her debut in the hunting world yesterday. Not knowing how she would react to the gunshot, though having already seen her skills and passion, I took her up to my house in the mountains and, as arranged with the game reserve warden, let her loose in a magnificent area with five nice pheasants. They were five really beautiful pointings. She didn’t even notice the gunshot and brought them back just fine. Dr. C. F. - Tavazzano

…I’ve purchased a few quails over the past two weeks and taken up lessons again with my favourite pupil, with very little results except for the standings. Yesterday, instead, he showed that he had stored the information from training by putting it into practice on the wild quails (a real godsend for my needs as they are really hard to get your hands on). After having stopped and correctly guided a couple, he remained still when they flew away, to my great joy and satisfaction.
