Philosophy

We breed Weimaraners of pure bloodlines out of sheer passion, our principle aim being to contribute to their preservation, increase the value of their qualities and to improve the breed. Our reproducers descend from the purest breeds on an International level, are totally in line with firmly established criteria of the breed Standard and possess an extremely balanced, docile, never aggressive character which we pay particular attention to.

Our puppies are suitable as pets as well as for competition, but also for hunting purposes.

We have Italian, International, European, American and World Champions at our kennel, almost all of which are Champion Reproducers. Thanks to them, we earned the title of Best Breeding Group in 2007, 2008 and 2009 at various Annual Italian Weimaraner Club Conventions.

Well aware that we breed Group 7 “pointing dogs”, and out of respect for the fundamental characteristics that these fascinating hounds possess, we are committed to trying to preserve and pass on this precious legacy, and dedicated to the careful selection that has taken place over the centuries of this wonderful breed, considered the most ancient hunting dog of Germany. We prepare our dogs seriously for field trials and show competitions, under the conviction that a beautiful Weimaraner must be, above all, “good”.

Most of our reproducers, in fact, have passed the PAR (proof of reproduction aptitude), an important examination check organised by the Weimaraner Club of Italy which involves a series of hunting trials aimed at also establishing whether a certain subject, beyond being endowed with the typical, natural characteristics that weimaraners possess, actually has a strong propensity for the wild and effectiveness in hunting practices or not.

Our passion began quite a few years ago with Roll, our first Weimaraner, today Italian and International Champion, unrivalled winner of numerous Annual Conventions of the Weimaraner Club Italy in which he always ranked as “Best Male”.
In the spring of 2006 he earned what is, in our opinion, the most important title of all, “Top Producing Champion”. He is no longer competing or reproducing these days as he is over the age limit.

We searched for the best wife possible for him, and after 5 years of researching and waiting, and thanks to Chris & Ted Grisell of Nani’s Weimaraner, Maybe arrived (Nani’s To Be Or Not To Be), a magnificent exemplary model who has given us great satisfaction both in and out of the ring. We heartily appreciate and thank Chris & Ted for the trust and helpfulness they expressed towards us. Maybe is the American, Italian, International, Croatian and European Champion. She is quite probably the single most Italian Weimaraner to have earned the highest recognition on the National and International level. She recently earned the title of “Top Producing Champion” for the quality of her puppies.

In the summer of 2006, after years of waiting, we had the great fortune of receiving yet another very important example in line with our philosophy of selection, the American Champion “Nani’s Outrage” (known as Tom), a very morphologically beautiful dog, with a modern framework and a very balanced character. He recently earned the title of “Top Producing Champion” and is the son of a famous Weimaraner, “Nani’s Indecent Exposure”, American Champion in 2005 and 2006 and one of the most important reproducers on an International level, father to extremely beautiful examples.

Tom and Maybe, beyond the individual titles, have earned the following titles together:

  • “Best European Weimaraner Couple” in 2007
  • “Best Weimaraner Brace in the World” in 2008
  • “Best World Brace 2008” over all breeds present.

These three champions, awarded over and over again, continue to be the base of our selection, they have generated offspring that are earning important titles both in Italy and abroad, signifying an incredible contribution to the improvement of the breed, which has established the Weimaraner’s claim to achievement over other breeds in European and world competitions.

All our dogs are exempt from dysplasia and other serious, hereditary illnesses and live with our family and in our yard where they are free to run all day long. We firmly believe that these are “ideal” conditions for Weimaraners, as dogs of great sensitivity and incredible attachment to owners and the family nucleus.
